The team is composed of professional staff members, the help of a graduate assistant, and numerous Federal Work Study positions.

Federal Work Study
The Student Engagement Office can hire Federal Work Study students to assist with the day-to-day programs of our office. Any HFU student that qualifies for Federal Work Study are encouraged to email SEO@myitown.com to schedule an interview for the work study positions. We hire students under the following job titles and duties.
Blue (Mascot) Work Study
The Mascot Work Study represents Holy Family through the HFU mascot costume at a variety of campus services, events and activities, including but not limited to: Athletics, Student Life, Admissions, and Community Events. The mascot must be someone who shares spirit and enthusiasm for HFU. Additionally the Mascot Work Study will assist with the day-to-day management of the mascot program including processing appearance requests, scheduling of team members, and assisting with the cleaning/maintenance of the mascot costume.
Club Sports/Intramural Work Study
The Club Sports/Intramurals work-study position will work for approximately 5-10 hours per week. This position will work with the Student Engagement Office team to review, update, and monitor clearance checks for club sports athletes. Additionally this position will help with the review of Intramural Rule books and logics. Finally, this position will have the opportunity to referee intramural matches, games, and/or tournaments.
Community Service and Volunteer Management Work Study
This position will work with the Student Engagement Office team to track, monitor, and organize volunteer data and various databases. This position will track and verify volunteer service hours, update and maintain volunteer service site databases, conduct research on civic engagement on college campuses, and will assist with the implementation of civic engagement programs through the Student Engagement Office. This can include, but is not limited to maintaining accurate records for civic engagement and volunteer opportunities both on and off campus, including logistical and historical data of campus partners, events and programs.
Social Media and Marketing Work Study
The Social Media and Marketing Work Study position will complete approximately 5-10 hours of work per week. This position will work with the Student Engagement Office team to produce text, photo and video content for our social media outlets, website, and weekly newsletter. This position will coordinate and schedule posts with content creators; produce original and creative text/photo/video content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; design and write weekly TUES NEWS newsletter, perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Generalist Work Study
The SEO Generalist Work Study functions include: answering phones and taking messages; picking up printing materials from Duplicating Office; filing and making copies; distributing and removing advertising materials around campus; maintaining the campus programming calendar on the second floor of the Campus Center; assisting with leadership program workshops and entering assessment data into spreadsheets; organizing and taking inventory of offices and supply rooms; and assisting with campus programming, including Orientation and student leader training. This position may be involved with assisting other Student Life offices and completing other assignments as needed.
